Issuing a statement after the meeting, the Committee informed that a memorandum had been submitted to the President of India, 21 MPs and Government of Manipur against the wrong news reports.
But till date there has been no information from the government side.
Meanwhile, one of the persons named Md Altaf, who was mentioned in the false news reports died of shock.
Before his death the deceased person, though ailing, was living a peaceful life working only for Tabligh-e-Jamaat (to call upon the people to do the good deeds).
But the news reports has hastened his annihilation.
Likewise many Muslim youths in various states are being targeted under a hidden agenda to make the people of the minority community to live under horrible and stress condition.
The hand out of the committee further claims that the Muslim youths are ill- fated due to exaggerated news reports and have been experiencing measurable difficulties in Gujarat, Mysore, J& K, Assam, UP, Manipur, etc.
It further claims that the fabricated news reports will never bring integrity and development in a country.
The joint committee wants other communities to extend help to join hand for fighting against such false news reports to ensure peaceful co-existence and a developed society.
It added that the terrorism is enemy of Islamic religion.
The convener of the committee expressed his dissatisfaction over the chain of unfounded news reports.

"Our survey yielded that the reports published in the First Word, The IFP and The Hindustan Time were fictitious; the names, father's names, addresses, etc.
of the persons mentioned in the reports were not matching and some are non-existent," the convenor pointed out.
The president MMOF has expressed disappointment over some elements working in secret to misrepresent Muslims as anti -national.
