Mushroom spawn production training prog concludes

The three days Mushroom Spawn Production training programme concluded at Terakhongshangbi Awang Community Hall yesterday.
The programme was organised by Rama Foundation Nagamapal in association with Women Skill Development Society Terakhongshangbi, Tronglaobi, Khudekpi, Leimaram Khunou with the help of Tronglaobi Terakhongshangbi Gram Panchayat Pradhan Leichonbam Bashanta and Loumee Lup Moirang.
Pradhan Leichonbam Bashanta, Rama Foundation managing director S Rajendrakumar, Loumee Lup Moirang AC secretary Manglem attended the event.
Altogether 50 people took part in the three days training programme in which Rama Foundation director Rajendrakumar talked about starting the production and cultivation of mushroom from just Rs 50.Speaking as a resource person, he maintained that an individual can double the income through this type of cultivation adding that mushroom is good for health which is a plus point for choosing this as a profession.
Loumee Lup secretary Manglem stated that this profession does not consume time and can enable a person to engage in other works as well and added that similar training programmes will be conducted at other parts of the constituency.
