KUSA alleges Angela Dangmei breaking Copyright Act

Kuki Song Writers' Association (KUSA) has alleged that Angela Dangmei has violated Copyright Act in her Gospel song, 'Chabua Guaile' and called for clarification on June 14 at Churachandpur.
KUSA's president, Wycliff Lunneo and general secretary, Lenchung Haokip in a press statement said that the song titled Chabua Guaile was composed from the popular Kuki Gospel song, 'Nang Laizon, Kei Laizon' composed by one LS Mangboi and sung by prominent Kuki Gospel singer, Hoineilam Haokip.
After the song "Chabua Guaile" went viral in social media, the original song composer LS Mangboi called her to clarify but she failed to act till date, the statement added.
Stating that Mangboi filed a petition to KUSA regarding the matter, it maintained that the association has decided to solve the matter amicably and called upon Angela Dangmei for clarification on June 14 at the residence of Peter Ngamsei at Churachandpur Champhai.
