Myanmar delegates visit health facilities

Imphal, June 10 2019:
The Myanmar delegates who arrived here yesterday to attend the India-Myanmar conference today visited several healthcare and higher education facilities of the State.
The delegates led by Myanmar Magway Region Chief Minister Dr Aung Moe Nyo also visited Kangla.
A bilateral conference would be held tomorrow at Hotel Classic Grande in connection with India's North East with the North West Region of Myanmar as a part of India's Act East Policy.
The conference is being organised by the India Foundation.
The Myanmar delegates visited RIMS, Sky Hospital as well as Manipur University today.
They would visit Loktak Lake on June 12.Indian delegates which would include Chief Minister N Biren and many high ranking officials of the State and Central Governments would be led by Governor Dr Najma Heptulla at the bilateral conference tomorrow.
Meanwhile, officials of Myanmar Air International and Air KBZ arrived here today.
They held a meeting with Imphal International Airport Director Senthil Valavan and Mandalay based Consul General of India Nandan Singh Bhaisora on introducing Imphal-Man-dalay flight.
Senthil Valavan said that the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is ready to extend all possible assistance towards introducing Imphal-Mandalay flight service.
Later, the Myanmar Air International and Air KBZ officials held another meeting with businessmen and tour operators at Classic Grande on the benefits that would be reaped by the two countries as and when Imphal-Mandalay flight service is introduced.
