4 years of Citizen Centric Governance celebrated in CCpur

CCpur, March 16 2021: District Administration Churachandpur joined the rest of the State in celebrating 4 Years Citizen Centric Governance with the motto of Unparalleled Peace, Progress & Unity in Manipur at Tuibong Peace Ground Auditorium, Churachandpur yesterday.

Ten Solar Reading Lanterns each provided by MANIREDA were being distributed to five different schools in the district and similarly Solar Reading Lanterns were distributed at the Sub-Divisional Headquarters.

Thangboi Gangte, MCS, ADC I Churachandpur in his keynote stated the various activities taken up by the administration during the last six days since March 10 .

He mentioned that due to the constant effort of the district administration and as part of the achievement of the district in the last four years, notable projects such as brand new National Highway along Tipaimukh and Tiddim Road, Medical College (the dream project of the citizen of Churachandpur), 42 different projects for inauguration and 5 projects in the pipeline for laying the foundation.

Speaking as the chief guest, Pawan Yadav , IAS, Deputy Commissioner said that a lot of innovative schemes had been designed such as CMHT and the scheme at the national level Ayushman Bharat which offer similar nature.

The DC also ensured that the administration is committed towards achieving the deadlines of the various projects and achieving the target before time.

Amrita Sinha, IPS, SP Churachandpur speaking on the occasion highlighted briefly some infrastructural assets of the district police in the past four years' time with the opening of Community Policing Centre at New Bazar on March 2, 2019, inauguration of Behiang Police Station (which is a symbol of taking policing to the remote border villages) and inauguration of Police Guest House on January 4, 2021 .

Amongst other dignitaries attending the programme included Lunkhomang Khongsai, CO, 1st IRB, S Khaikhopau Ngaihte, MCS, ADC II, SDOs, DLOs and Officials from different line Department under District Administration.
