Dr Jodhachandra appointed Medical Director in Nepal

Prof Jodhachandra Sanasam, who is not only a well-known ENT doctor but also a prominent literary figure in Manipur, has been appointed as the Director of Nobel Medical College, Nepal.
Prof Jodhachandra would be assuming the post on June 22 and he would be leaving Imphal on June 20 .
Meanwhile, members of Patriotic Writers' Forum, of which Prof Jodhachandra is the incumbent president, hosted a reception function in his honour at the head office of the Forum here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Jodhachandra said that the appointment to the post of Medical Director has made him feel younger all over again.
It is the duty of a doctor to treat the patients and provide succour to their sufferings and he has high regard for the profession.
But one thing that he can't help but be sad over the appointment to the post of Medical Director in a College in Nepal is that he would not be able to meet his friends in the literary circle as frequent as he wishes.
Earlier, congratulating Prof Jodhachandra, Founder Secretary of the Forum OC Meira, observed that appointment of Prof Jodhachandra to the post of Medical Director in Nobel Medical College, Nepal is not only an honour to himself but also to whole Manipur.
Vice President of the Forum Raghu Leishangthem, Angam Jatung Chiru and many other members of the Forum were present on the occasion.
It may be noted here that Prof Jodhachandra is also a regular columnist of Hueiyen Lanpao.
The management and staff of Hueiyen Lanpao Group of Publications have congratulated him on his appointment as the Director of Nobel Medical College, Nepal.
