Lui-Ngai-Ni celebrated at Ukhrul too

Lui-Ngai-Ni (Seed Sowing festival) was also celebrated in Chadong village, Ukhrul district with 'Peace and prosperity through work culture' .
North East India Development Party (NEIDP) president N Samarjit graced the event as the chief guest while Church leaders as well as social activist Ashang Kasar as functional president and NEIDP CWC vice president Sapam Kunjakeswor also attended.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest maintained that the party will urge the State Government to establish a university at Chadong park, where students can conduct research studies and students from outside the State can visit as well.
He appealed to all to promote the park as a tourist destination and not let Chadong park become just a mere picnic park.
He assured that Salai will extend all possible aid in promoting the area.
Meanwhile, NEIDP CWC vice president Sapam Kunjakeswor said that the part will also pressure the State Government to renovate the road leading to Chadong village so that any visitors can have a great experience while visiting the park and the village.
Church leader Ashang Kasar, while lauding the delegates for participating in the celebration, appealed them to share the experience of the festival to other people.
