MPMC stages demonstration

As part of the Nation-wide protest against
inflation, Manipur Pradesh Mahila Congress staged a sit-in-pro-
test at Congress Bhavan today.
Taking part at the protest MPCC president TN Haokip
questioned where Prime Minister's promise of 'achhe din' has
gone.
He said that people all over the country have been
reeling under extreme hardships due to sky-rocketed price rise.
Saying that BJP used to make hue and cry when prices of
petroleum products were hiked during UPA rule, TN Haokip
said that people are however experiencing hardships due to
inflation now.
He questioned how long people would wait for
'achhe din'.

Tilotama said that Narendra made tall promises before his
party formed Government at the Centre.
No change is visible even after two years although he had
promised to bring 'achhe din' within 100 days, she said.
She said that train fair has been hiked 14.4 per cent while
flight fair has been increased 6.5 per cent when compared to
the time of UPA Government.
