Gaikhangam was speaking during a function at Kakhulong here today.
The function was organised jointly by Kakhulong Pei, Kakhulong Women's Society and Kakhulong Youth Committee to felicitate him along with other elected Members of IMC and MLAs including RK Imo (MLA of Sagolband A/C), Z Kikhanbou Newmai (MLA of Tamei A/C), Janghemlung Panmei (MLA of Tamenglong A/C), Krangchonglu Gangmei (Councillor of IMC Ward no 24) and Rajen Gangmei (Member of IMC) .

He also pointed out that the resources of the state should be utilized in the most accurate manner and stop depending on others for our survival.

We need to build up the habit of being punctual in all occasions.
