AMSU, guardian bodies set fee structure for private schools

Till the government of Manipur comes up with a definite decision on the fee structure for private schools in the state, the private school authorities should stick to the fee structure of charging Rs 1000 from Pre-nursery to Kg, Rs 1500 for class I to V and Rs 2000 for class VI to class X, a public discussion session held here today has endorsed.
Organised under the aegis of All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU), the public discussion session held at Ima Khunthokhanti Shanglen, DM College campus further endorsed that all the private school authorities which have closed admission before finalization of the matter on fee structure and admission should extend their admission date at once.
Among other resolutions adopted, the discussion session held with AMSU President Thokchom Suresh, Advisor of All Manipur Students Guardians' Association N Tomba and Convenor of Guardian Committee on School Fee, Manipur Dr N Santakumar as Presidium members also reaffirmed the earlier resolutions taken during a similar discussion session organized by AMSU on January 18 and decided to include some more nominees in the Guardian Committee on School Fee for strengthening its function and ensure setting up of Guardian/Parents Committee in all the schools for proper co-ordination among the guardians/guardians and the school authorities.
