Dhanamanjuri Community College hosts training programme

A five day training programme - "Managing livelihood and social protection in North East India" has started today at Dhanamanjuri Community College, DM College of Science, DMU campus, Imphal Monday.
The training programme is being organised jointly by VV Giri National Labour Institute (GNLI), Noida in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Regional Campus, Manipur and DM Community College.
W Manglemnganba Chenglei, Director University and Higher Education, Dr Otojit Ksh, Coordinator, Centre for North East India, VV GNLI, Noida, Dr N Surjitkumar Singh, HOD Tribal Studies, IGNTU, Manipur and Dr Raheijuddin Sheikh, Nodal Officer, DM Community College & Director DDU Centre for Kaushal attended the event as presidium members.
Numerous scholars, students and resource persons will hold discussion on the different topics/issues related to livelihood and 'social protection' during the training programme said Dr Otojit Kshetrimayum, Coordinator, Centre for North East India, VV Giri National Labour Institute.
A document will be submitted to the State Government as input at the end of the training programme, he said.
