Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) appealed the people of the state to engage in healthy habits and stay safe and fit on the occasion of 'World Health Day' today.
MSF expressed gratitude towards the healthcare workers and other frontline warriors engaged in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic and said the people of the state should observed maximum precaution to stay safe and to aid in the Government's initiative to end the pandemic.
In a statement issued today, Melem Biju, publicity secretary, MSF said the student body has been long involved in making education a drug free zone and to save the students from the menace of drug for a better future and added that they will continue to work towards making the society better in all front and not only in educational sector.
He added that the increasing number of students falling prey to drug and substance abuse is alarming and the in light of this MSF has been demanding inclusion of drug awareness chapters in schools and colleges, which can only be achieved by support from the masses.
