Mass campaign of CPI held

Imphal, February 07 2021:
Mass campaign of Communist Party of India (CPI) Manipur State Council was held today at Top Dusara Kshetrigao, Khabi and Konthoujam AC and resolved to fight continuously for the rights of labourers, farmers and downtrodden.
The campaign in Khabi was graced by veteran comrades Okram Ibotombi and Irom Chaoba as the presidium members L Sotinkumar, state secretary of CPI, M Joykumar assistant secretary and M Sakhi Devi president of Nupi Marup also attended the campaign among others.
While in Kshetrigao's campaign, State secretariat member A Lala and State Executive Comrade S Tomba along with other CPI leaders, members and the locals.
Addressing the gathering at Khabi L Sotinkumar said that CPI will continue to strive for the welfare of labourers, farmers and downtrodden.
He alleged that the BJP led Government is selling off the land of the masses in the name of privatisation which is responsible for the deplorable state of the producers in the country.
And continued that CPI will continue to protest against the farm bills until it is revoked and will urge the Government to provide befitting punishments to the drug dealers.
On the other hand, a mass campaign on 'Save Democracy', 'Save People from Drugs' and against Farm Bills was held at Top Dusara of Kshetrigao.
