Many condemn brutal killing of school Principal

Many more condemnation poured in over the brutal murder of MBC Higher Secondary School Kangpokpi Principal by unknown miscreants inside Tumuyon Khullen jungle which is also locally known as Haijang Hills near Kangpokpi DHQs.
Lenkholal Chongloi, also commonly known as Sir Helen, Principal of MBC Higher Secondary School, Kangpokpi was found with multiple bullet injuries inside the deep jungle on Saturday morning by Haijang villagers who went out in search for him.
Condemning the brutal murder of the Principal, Sadar Hills Private Schools' Association (SHIPS) termed the killing as 'Senseless act of violence' and expressed deepest condolence over the untimely demise of Lenkholal Chongloi.
Hemang Singsit, president (SHIPS), said that Helen Chongloi was a dedicated, sincere, honest, disciplined and gentle school leader who always kept his cool.
He was a gem of a person, an exemplary figure amongst his contemporaries, and is dearly loved by each and every member of the teaching fraternity, he added.
He also conveyed that his untimely demise in such a tragic manner is a great loss to the entire student community and the public at large and appealed to the authority concerned to nab the culprits at the earliest.
The members of the SHIPS fraternity also pray to God to give strength to the bereaved family at this hour of extreme agony, he stated.
Hemang Singsit further said that as a mark of respect and honour to the departed soul, all the schools in Kangpokpi district shall remain closed tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Kuki Women Organization for Human Rights also condemned the brutal murder of the school Principal terming it as 'against human rights' .
The Kuki Women Organization for Human Rights conveyed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family.
Decrying such inhumane act in the society, KWOHR president Hahat Touthang, urged the person(s) responsible in the crime to surrender at the earliest.
The Human Rights President also sought the immediate intervention of the concerned authority to book the culprits and take appropriate action according to the law of the land at the earliest.
Kangpokpi Town Co Women Welfare Organization and Kanggui Youth Union also condemned the killing of Lenkholal Chongloi and expressed their deepest condolence while sharing the pain and grief of the bereaved family.
The associations also said that they will endorse and support any movement taken up by the Kuki Inpi and CSOs Kangpokpi in connection with the killing of the Lenkholal Chongloi alias Helen Chongloi in future.
It also appealed to all individuals and groups to support the movement of the Kuki Inpi and CSOs Kangpokpi in seeking justice for the deceased School Principal.
