Imphal, June 10:
Taking strong exception to the demand of the Naga People's Organisation (NPO) for the transfer of Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Kesarwani from Senapati district, the Poumai Women Organisation (PNM) has appealed to the NPO retract their stand.
A press release issued by the PNM contended that the DC is an able administrator and an upright person who deserves supporting hands and appreciation rather than condemnation or negation.
PNM further cautioned NPO not to go ahead with their hasty decision of transferring the DC in the general interest of the public.
