Club urges for bus terminus repairing

The United Clubs NH-37 has urged upon the Government of Manipur to repair the bus terminus located at Langjing ahead of the election code of conduct comes into force.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, United Club NH-37 president Thongam Shyama Khaba Nganba said that the bus terminus which serves as brief for vehicles travelling between Imphal and Jiribam is full of shortfalls.
He also sought attention of the authority to black top the existing parking space, provide regular power supply and install solar lamps.
He also appealed to the Government to construct sanitary latrines and also to install a water reservoir.
On the other hand, local people as well as commuters have been facing serious inconveniences due to parking a number of vehicles at Dibong Awang Leikai, Islamabad Lamkhai, Kadamtala IVR etc in Jiribam as the godown located at Dibong Awang Leikai has no parking space.
Highlighting all these grievances, Shyama urged upon the Government to build a well equipped parking lot at Jiribam too.
