KFA to begin non-residential football coaching

The Kuki Football Academy (KFA), established to promote football among youngsters of the State from grassroots level, at D Phaihel village, Kangpokpi District is all set to begin its first non-residential football coaching from January 22 .
According to the academy, the non-residential football coaching will be held at the academy's playground at D Phaihel village, which will also hosted the first ever night tourney in the entire hill districts of the State.
It also said that intending and enthusiastic boys who were born between 2005�2007 can enrol for the coaching while stating that the entry form should be submitted on or before January 20 .
The entry form for the coaching can be availed from KFA office, D Phaihel, Full Moon, Sapormeina, Upadhya Book Store, Kangpokpi DHQs and Len's Photo Studio, Motbung, it added.
The president of the Kuki Football Academy, Thangminlen Kipgen said that a famous football academy from Kolkata will conduct trial for its academy at KFA playground, Sadar Hills Kangpokpi District and participants of the non-residential football coaching can also participate in the trial.
The foundation stone of KFA was laid on December 3 last year by the State DGP, LM Khaute in the presence of various other IPS officers.
Thangminlen Kipgen said that the academy has a plan to organize the much appreciated and well acclaimed night tourney again this year but nothing can be ascertained as of now, he added.
