TSA appeals for support

The Thadou Students' Association Ghqs has appealed to the general public, passenger transport associations, commuters etc to support the 36 hours bandh called by the association along Imphal-Moreh, Imphal-Churachandpur, Imphal-Jiribam and Imphal-Dimapur roads from January 16.A press release issued by the information and publicity secretary of the association explained that medical, electricity, water supply, marriage/send off ceremony, religious activities and airport services will be exempted from the bandh.
On the other hand, TSA Jiribam and Tamenglong has fully endorsed the bandh.
The association further informed that all commuters and vehicles coming towards Imphal from Jiribam shall be blocked at Gularthol post office and any vehicle found beyond the said point will face appropriate consequence for defying the bandh.
Meanwhile, the JAC Against the Murder of Thongkhogin alias Ts Agin Haokip has pledged support to the 36 hours highway bandh.
