KSO Delhi founding advisor no more, KSO condoles

With profound grief and sorrow, Kuki Students' Organizations-General Headquarters informed that the founding advisor of KSO Delhi, Thangkholun Haokip (1961-2019) of Chakpi Molbem village, Chandel left for his heavenly abode yesterday.
According to student body Department of Information, late Thangkholun Haokip was one of many Kuki social enthusiasts who work for the welfare of the Kuki people in the national capital Delhi.
He was instrumental in the formation of KSO Delhi and served as Advisor from 1987 to 1990.He also held the post of President of KSO Chandel District in the year 1980-84.His dedication and commitment for the welfare of the Kuki people at large will be cherished and fondly remembered, it added.
The KSO-GHQ, in such a sorrowful time, offers its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prays that the Almighty Lord comfort the bereaved family and loved ones.
Meanwhile, KSO Sadar Hills also expressed heartfelt condolence over the untimely demise of founding advisor, KSO Delhi while sharing the pain and grief of the bereaved family.
It also said that the Kuki Students' Organization will forever cherish the exemplary contribution of the deceased leader.
KSO Chandel while conveying its deepest condolence over the demise of Thangkholun Haokip, the founding advisor of KSO Delhi, also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family at such critical juncture and pray for their comfort.
It also said that late Thangkholun Haokip was the former President of KSO Chandel and was also an MLA candidate in 41/Chandel constituency who worked tirelessly for the welfare of the all community in Chandel and the Kuki community at large.
