Relief materials distributed to fire victims of Ukhrul

Ukhrul, November 19 2019:
The Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul Joseph Pauline Kamson as an immediate relief for the fire victims of Wino Bazar today distributed relief materials to all the tenant families.
In a simple function held at fire ravaged site of Wino Bazar Ukhrul, the Deputy Commissioner handed over a sum of Rs 10,000 in cash, rice and salt to 14 shop owners whose shops were destroyed in the yesterday's inferno.

Chairman of the locality, Wungnganing Kashung expressed gratefulness to all the people of Ukhrul for their immediate responses in dousing off the fire and in salvaging the debris while mentioning the quick action of Ukhrul Fire Brigade and 27 AR which swung into action and put the fire under control.
He also appreciated SP Ukhrul for deploying police personnel in order to prevent any untoward incident in the area.
Meanwhile, president of All Hunphun Tangs Association (AHTA), Chonmi Raleng lauded the DC and his subordinate officers for the humanitarian services and financial assistance to all the fire victims families.
