Foodwifi continues service amid lockdown

Amid the ongoing lockdown, staff of Foodwifi is serving a section of Manipur populace by delivering their choice of food items which they ordered online up to their doorsteps.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, CEO cum co-founder of Wigistic Ventures Private Limited at its office at Keishamthong Ahanthem Leikai, Kenedy Oinam stated that the company was established in June 2017 .
Bickychand Khangjrakpam is the co-founder cum COO of the company, he said and added that there were 50 delivery executives before the imposition of Nationwide lockdown, but only 25 of them are working for now.
Saying that the delivery executives have been delivering food items such as meat, fresh vegetables, grocery and fast food items to those who ordered it online amid the lockdown in Imphal East and Imphal West districts, he added that every delivery staff had obtained a curfew pass from the DCs concerned.
Foodwifi has also launched its service at Churachandpur from May 2020, Kenedy lamented.
Continuing that the company is partnering with about 80 fast-food restaurants, he added that customers can order their choice of food items by installing a mobile app Foodwifi from the comfort if their home.
Depending on their commitment to work, delivery executives can earn from Rs 15,000 to 30,000 a month, he said adding that the company has provided job opportunity to unemployed youth.
