The snail pace of construction work in Khuga Dam has once weigh down as contractors of its head work division and diversion road imposed an indefinite ban on all works related to the project.
A release of the contractors said their action was a result of the State Government's failure in upholding the agreement it had reached January 20 this year.
The Government had assured to release Rs.1 Crore and create Tedim Road Diversion Special Fund as per the agreement it adds.
Detailing their demand the contractors said unless bills under all division of Khuga Multipurpose is cleared and works undertaken by NEC on the diversion is halted until the clearance of pending bills.
