Food preservation certificate course

A fiveday long certificate course on 'preservation of fruits and vegetables and nutrition' organised under the aegis of KVK Imphal East in collaboration with Community Food and Nutrition Extension Unit, Chingamathak concluded at KVK Andro today.
Around 30 people participated in the programme during which resource persons from KVK Andro including SMS Home Science S Molibala Devi and Technician CFNE Unit S Bihari Singh imparted knowledge on minimising nutritional loss and preservation technicians.
Director of Extension Education, CAU Prof M Premjit Singh and programme co-ordinator of KVK Imphal East Dr T Medhabati who were present during the valedictory function today encouraged the participants to share the knowledge gained with their peers.
