Volunteers of People's Task Force for COVID-19 (PTFC-19) continued its street campaign to raise awareness about the COVID-19 and measures to control the spread of the virus causing it, from Waheng Leikai to Malom today.
The volunteers also inspected whether vendors opened along the road stretch are following SOPs during the drive which also detected flouting of physical distancing norm at the COVID-19 testing facility at Changangei where samples of State returnees or those who entered the State via flights are collected and tested, a statement of PTFC-19 said.
Such recklessness on the part of the returnees and those being assigned to manage them could lead to a big disaster, it said while drawing the attention of authorities concerned to look into the matter.
