Imphal, April 20:
Questioning the motive behind the scheduled visit of the Review Committee members on AFSPA to conduct public hearings at Senapati and Churachandpur on April 21 and 23 respectively, Ethno Heritage Council has categorically stated that even if the State Government is ready to welcome the Review Committee members as State Guests, the people of Manipur should chase them out with brooms.
In a statement, publicity secretary of Hericoun L Sanajaoba Meitei asserted that the second visit of the Review Committee to the State after listening to enough comments from the people during their last visit is an ample prove of the divide and rule policy being played among the people of the State.
