Orphanage UJB School distributes uniforms

For the first time Orphanage UJB School, Kanglatongbi under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi distributed school uniform to all the student of the school today in a simple function held at the School premises.
The Uniform Distribution function was graced by Thangneikhai Vaiphei, Inspector of Schools, SHADC Kangpokpi as Chief Guest, Letkhohao Lhouvum, President Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Teachers' Association and Ratan Kumar, Circle Assistant Inspector of School as Guest of Honour and Chungson, Chairman of the school SMDC as president respectively.
Apart from other assistant inspector of schools under SHADC Kangpokpi, the function was also attended by N Jugindro Singh, Headmaster Khoripok UJB School, L Kokil Singh, Headmaster Terakhong UJB School and N Nanda, Headmaster, K Orphanage UJB School as well as teaching staff and students.
The students were distributed school uniforms by the dignitaries present at the uniform distribution function.
A Mid Day Meal was also served to the gathering after the function.
Mentioned may be made that out of thirty three students of K Orphanage UJB School, the uniforms were sanctioned to only twenty eight student.
School Management and Development Committee, therefore, had to arrange for the five left out students.
N Nanda, Headmaster, K Orphanage UJB School said that it is very unfortunate that the school uniform were provided to only twenty eight students out of thirty three.
School Management and Development Committee out of love for its students, therefore, arranged school uniforms for the five left out students.
N Nanda, also appealed concern authorities to conduct a Medical Camp at the school considering the transitional period of Summer and Winter season and also a plantation of sapling around the school campus.
Highlighting the necessity of upgrading K Orphanage UJB School to a Jr High School, Chungson, Chairman of the School Management and Development Committee urged concerned authorities for early upgradation of the school into Jr High School.
Circle Assistant Inspector of School, Ratankumar also appealed all the concerned school authorities, including teacher, to enhance the functioning of the school for a better performance and for the future of the student.
