Website launched to solicit poll manifesto views

With the aim to solicit suggestion for inclusion of student-specific issues/interest in the election manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) today launched a website (www.nsui.in) at simple function held at Manipur Press Club.
After the launch of the website as the chief guest former MLA Dr Kh loken, who is also the MPCC vice president appealed to the general public, particularly the student community to air their views for the betterment of academic environment in the State.
Stating that all possible steps would be taken to reflect the students' views in the party's manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections scheduled next year, he also conveyed that Congress party welcomes any suggestion or comments to enable the political organisation serve the people in a better way.
Speaking at the occasion, NSUI, Manipur president Th Bikram Khuman said comments or suggestions could also be forwarded in physical form, website, missed call (080-66719299), face book (www.facebook/com/nsui.in), twitter and khidkee.
MPCC general secretary Bidyapati Senjam also attended the website launch function.
