BJP intensifies poll campaign at Sugnu, Keibul

To strengthen Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) presence in Sugnu before the 17 Lok Sabha elections, BJP Sugnu Mandal organised a booth sammelan of the 39-Sugnu AC today.
BJP is fielding H Shokhopao Benjamin Mate from the Outer Parliamentary Constituency and the poll is scheduled to be held on April 11.BJP Manipur Pradesh president and MP (Rajya Sabha) Ksh Bhabananda, who attended the event said that 'there is none who can counter and challenge PM Narendra Modi'.
"Rahul Gandhi has opted to contest the election from Kerala also as he fears defeat," said the MP and claimed that BJP will again form Government in the Centre with more than 300 seats victory.
BJP will sustain its Government in the Centre and the State, he said.
Congress had confirmed that its president Rahul Gandhi will contest Lok Sabha elections from two seats- one from Amethi seat of Uttar Pradesh and another from Kerala's Wayanad Constituency.
Bhabananda also criticised the previous Congress Government of not understanding the plight of the people.
Congress had failed to reach out and connect with the people, he said and added that the BJP led Government of Manipur has launched many schemes and projects in a short span of two years.
He mentioned Go To Hills, Go To Village and Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) as game changers.
Bhabananda also encouraged the party workers to dedicate and work tirelessly for the party's victory in the elections.

Congress destroyed youths' lives: RK Ranjan
During the 15 years of the Congress in the State, the lives and aspirations of the youths were destroyed, asserted RK Ranjan.
He was speaking at the booth sammelan of the party at Phouoibi Community Hall in Keibul, Bishnupur district.
RK Ranjan is contesting Lok Sabha election on BJP ticket from Inner Parliamentary Constituency.
After BJP came to power in the Centre and the State, a lot has changed, he said and added that youths now have their voices heard.
A number of new schemes and projects have been launched by the BJP led Governments targeting to curb poverty, he said.
He blamed the previous Congress Government and MPs of letting Myanmar encroached upon the land belongs to the State.
In just 15 months, the BJP led Government has done more than what Congress did in 15 years, he claimed.
The sammelan was also attended by many party leaders including BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president M Ashnikumar, Bishnupur district president RK Bimola, ZP Member Kha Thinungei O Ibojao, Pradhan Moirangkhunou GP M Dhaneshore Singh.
More than 300 who joined the party recently were also felicitated at the event.
