Imphal, April 02 2019:
NPF has asserted that the party would raise voices of minority communities whose voices are often lost in the blame game played between big National parties.
Speaking at reception function of Ukhrul ADC's BJP Member FJA Vareshang and Senapati ADC's BJP Member R Ashihrii who joined NPF at Dewlahland this evening, NPF Manipur unit president Awangbow Newmai asserted that a candidate can win election only when he/she receives blessing of God and people.
He said that the entry of the two ADC Members into the fold of NPF would further strengthen the party.
It is either Congress or BJP which has been ruling the country but they never bother to learn or listen to the grievances of minority as they are always busy in blame game.
On the contrary, NPF is a regional party which has been working in line with the people's pulse and aspiration, Awangbow said.
He said that there is a growing need to choose political parties which understand the pulse, sentiment and grievances of minority communities.
NPF is a party of the people of the region and it would always stand for the underprivileged.
The ruling BJP has been criticising rival Congress party and they have never talked what they would do for the people till date, Awangbow remarked.
Notably, the reception function was held at the election office of NPF candidate in Outer Manipur PC Dr Lorho S Pfoze.
Speaking at the gathering, Dr Lorho welcomed the two ADC Members who quit BJP and joined NPF.
Even though NPF is a small party, it is sincere and it stands for truth.
Appealing to all the people not to see NPF from communal perspective, Dr Lorho claimed that NPF always keep its words.
However, NPF's ally BJP made a number of promises to the people but the party never bothered to translate any of its promises into action, Dr Lorho said.
Recalling BJP president Amit Shah's statement that CAB 2016 would be brought back in case BJP is re-elected to power, the NPF candidate warned that CAB will have serious implications to all the people of the North East.
He then appealed to the masses to support regional parties so that such issues can be fought with dedication and determination.
Only regional parties can bring solutions to the myriad issues besieging the region, he said while appealing to all electors to elect candidates who would stand for the cause of masses.
