6th batch of 100 hours free employability training prog to begin

Model Career Centre of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Imphal (NIELIT) will be kicking off the 6th batch of 100 hours 'Free Employment Training Program' for SC/ST and economically backward candidates with income below Rs 200,000 per annum under Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) AA (Affirmative Action) Programme and National Career Service from April 12 .
A press release issued by Scientist E Nodal officer MCC stated that so far 61 candidates have been offered jobs at TCS under this program.
The 100 hours training comprises of different curriculum including communicative English, corporate etiquette and soft skills, resume building and interview facing skills, analytical and reasoning skills, basic computer knowledge.
Graduate with BA, BSc including computer Science & IT, BCom, BCA with regular university/college pass outs of the last four academic years (from 2015 till 2019 appearing) and not above 28 years are eligible to attend the training, it added.
