Imphal, August 26 2009:
Instead of screening the patients coming voluntarily to screen for Swine flu infection, doctors in Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) are reportedly referring all of them to the control room set up in the State Health Services.
According to sources from the State Health Services, the control room is only a helpline and there is no facility for screening and treatment.
For the purpose of screening and treatment, separate wards have been set up at JN Hospital and RIMS.
Meanwhile, commencing from today, the State Health Services has started imparting training on Swine flu to 34 doctors.
The three-day long training programme is being held at State Guest House.
