NSCN-IM Chairman Isak Chisi Swu has made a hinting statement of forming a "united front" of all the underground groups in the North East region to fight the "common enemy".
According to a Dimapur based newspaper, Isak Chisi while addressing the NSCN-IM leaders at Camp Hebron, off Dimapur two days ago, said that the NSCN-IM was committed to live peacefully with their neighbours "because we share the same destiny".
It was obvious that the common enemy Swu mentioned was India.The NSCN-IM Chairman further stated "in such an understanding I see the future of the people (of the region) and Nations preserving their identity and history in South East Asia".
Isak Swu also stated that the NSCN-IM supported and sympathised all the revolutionary groups which have been fighting for their survival.
"Engaging the common enemy on many fronts is one practical necessity and that the monster has to be challenged from all angles," Isak Chisi Swu said .
The NSCN-IM leader then dubbed the policy of India to divide the Nagas.
Isak Swu said that though New Delhi talks of solution through dialogue the Government of India has been pouring out its military might upon the Nagas.
