Yoga programme concludes

The two-day National campaign on yoga and naturopathy for holistic health, organised by Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy, concluded at CC Higher Secondary School today.
The programme was organised in collaboration with Department of Education (S), Anandsingh Yoga and Nature Cure Research Hospital, Yoga Physique Institute and Studies and Indian Naturopathy and Yoga Medical Guarantee Association, NE Branch Manipur.
Agriculture Minister Ph Parijat, MP Thangso Baite, Wabagai A/C MLA U Deven, Additional DGP P Mallana Goud and Additional Director of Education (S/V) CB Poudyal were the chief guest, president, and guests of honour of the function respectively.
Speakers of the function expressed hope that the campaign would encourage the youths to embrace yoga for maintaining good health.
Nowadays, back pain has become a common disorder to most of the people, they said and added that it is due to lack of physical movement in day to day life.
In all, 402 people took part in the yoga programme, out of which 247 were students.
