2011 HSSLC results declared
Private schools dominate in Science stream

Imphal, May 29 2011:
The results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Exams 2011 were declared tonight with a record overall pass percentage of 75.67.No student from government schools were in the top 20 positions in respect of Science stream but in Arts, a student of a government school secured the top position.
A student of Digambar Jain HSS topped in Commerce.
Out of 22,483 students, 17,014 cleared the exams.
This is the highest pass percentage recorded.
In the Science stream, out of 15,355 students, 12,144 cleared the exams.
Of 6486 who appeared in the Arts stream, 4537 students, passed and out of 642 students in the Commerce stream 333 cleared the exams.
In the Science stream, Heikrujam Prashanjeet, who stood first, secured 479 with letter marks in six subjects.
Amom Rohen Singh of Millennium Institute of Science stood second with 464 marks and letter marks in six subjects.
Ningthoujam Victor of Temple of Learning stood third with 459 with letter marks in six subjects.
Vijaya Sanasam of TG HSS, who stood first in Arts stream, secured 420 marks with letter marks in five subjects.
Loveson Gangmei and Yumkhaibam Noren of Enlighten Knowledge HSS, Sangakpham,.shared the second position with 419 marks.
Loveson secured letter marks in five subjects while Noren secured letter marks in four subjects.
The third postion went to Mercy Chingnunghoih of Rayburn College, Churachandpur.
She secured 409 marks with letters in four subjects.
Mebidita Chirom of Shri Digambar Higher Secondary School stood first in Commerce.
She secured 368 marks with letter marks in three subjects.
Neha Jain of the same school secured the second position with 365 marks with letters in two subjects while the third position went to Bhaskar Thingujam of CC HSS.
He secured 362 marks with letters in three subjects.
