Committee on COVID-19 Manipur continues its mass awareness drive

In view of the crowding of street vendors in various places of the State after the relaxation of curfew and restrictions imposed by the State, Committee on COVID-19 Manipur conducted mass awareness campaigns at places to sensitize the street vendors regarding the preventive measures against COVID-19 pandemic.
In a press release, the committee which is formed by CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council stated the a team led by its convenor, M Premjit carried out mass awareness campaigns at Konung Mamang, Andro Parking, Keithel Asangbi, Khongman Mangjin, Singjamei Thongkhong and Nambul Mapal and spread awareness to the street vendors on the importance of adhering to Covid SOPs and protocol among the vendors and customers to contain the further spread of the virus in the interest of all.
During the campaign, the volunteers made the vendors to maintain social distancing and distributed face masks and Ayush medicines provided by the Ayush Directorate.
The Committee also continued its distribution drive of Ayush-64 tablets at Lamjao, Wabagai Thingel Leikai, Thoubal Ward no 1, Okram, Ward no 2 Thoubal Wangma Taba, Lamboikhongnang Makhong, Waithou, Moijing, Moirang Khunou and Khurai Sajor Leikai today.
