The United Komrem Revolutionary Army (UKRA/KNO) has dismissed the clarification of ZRO/ZRA which denied hands in the killing of L Khupneilun alias Lulun Kom as a fictitious, baseless claim and a total lie.
A press statement issued by SBB Kom, I&P secy of UKRA said that the ZRO/ZRA accused Lulun as a ZRA deserter who had decamped with two AK-56 rifles knowing well that the deceased would not speak after
his death.
It catergorically asked why the ZRO/ZRA has still denied its hands in the killing even after the Van (WB-3205/blue colour) and the identities of the cadres involved in the killing and abduction from a location near Light House, Ccpur were ascertained.
Saying that the personal details of Capt L Khupneilun Kom alias L Lulun Kom could be accessed from the records of CID (SB), police station concerned and security forces, the UKRA statement asserted that there has been no instance of Lulun decamping with the weapons of ZRO/ZRA.
Maintaining that UKRA/KNO has never done any wrong in violation of SoO ground rules so far, the statement conveyed the outfit's aspiration of peaceful coexistence of all.
SSB Kom also appealed to the authority concerned to look into the matter regarding alleged illegal stashing up of unregistered arms by ZRA cadres in New Lamka area for use in abduction and killing against the sanctioned arms to all SoO groups.
It may be mentioned that the ZRO/ZRA not only denied hands in the killing of Lulun but also accused him of its former cadre who decamped with two weapons.
