'Whether it is in language or in development aspects, the government of Manipur is putting in all out efforts for bringing about balanced development in the state, he added.
Pointing to the speech of language expert Dr.Chandramani, Gaikhangam said his deliberations might create misunderstanding and give a wrong message to the people.
Hence he was halted, explained the Minister, while saying that courtesy must be maintained while addressing people of various communities.
Admitting valuable elements in the speech of Dr.Chandramani, the chief guest termed his manner as mis-articulation, even though he was clean in heart.

Although Manipuri language acts as lingua franca of the state, other dialects spoken by various communities need to be developed, observed the Deputy Chief Minister saying that the state language will be developed only when other dialects are developed.
