Workshop for primary school teachers held

District Council Administration of ADC Chandel organised a one day seminar cum workshop for primary school teachers of Tengnoupal block under ADC Chandel at Tengnoupal community hall today.
S Tongpao Mate, EM, ADC Chandel; members of ADC Chandel Chanthoi Aimol and LR Kothil Maring attended the programme as the chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively.
Dr Tinkhoneng Haokip, Lecturer, DIET Chandel spoke as the resource persons on constructive approach in teaching-learning while Naorem Birmangol Singh, retd Principal, DIET Kakching deliberated on the impact of parents to teachers in primary schools.
Speaking at the function, S Tongpao said that the ADC has been exerting efforts for the improvement of education system in the hill areas since the ADC was revived after the gap of 20 years in 2010 .

He maintained that education system in the hills makes some improvement since the revival of ADC.
Making an appeal to the teachers to discharge their duties with full dedication, Tongpao said that teachers should feel that they are one of the most important key stake holders for bringing a change in the system.
TK Moshilpha, Inspector of Schools, ADC Chandel; Renie Wanglar, DI (S); DK Lamkang, AI and Ng Belen, Inspector of Schools also attended the workshop.
More than 200 primary school teachers under Autonomous District Council, Chandel attended the programme.
