'Full proof security planned for Sangai Festival': Dy CM

'The state government is set to provide full proof security for the ensuing Sangai Festival slated to be held from November 21 to 30 in Manipur'.
This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam while talking to the media before his departure from Tribal Research Centre Imphal after participating in the Tribal Language Day celebration today.
Gaikhangam, weho is also the Home Minister of Manipur told mediapersons that the visit of prime minister Narendra Modi and union tourism minister Shripad Yesho to Manipur, which has been highlighted in some media, has not been confirmed officially.
Commenting on the deadline set by Joint Committee on ILP System in Manipur, the minister informed the media that the political parties' committee is working hard to present its report to the government for further actions.
While encouraging the JCILPS for setting a deadline for expediting the process, he said the Joint Committee's move is to accelerate the works of the all political parties' committee on ILP and the government.
