After minute discussions it was agreed that the case would be immediately investigated by the police; the present company of 44 Assam Rifles Banglabung outpost will be removed or replaced by the same company in Kangpokpi district headquarters at the earliest after approval from the Army headquarters at New Delhi; that a fully functional armed police station with a minimum of 40 strength be set up at the earliest and the Assam Rifles to compensate the loss of life by handing over Rs 10 lakh.
