Raj Medicity giving free health service from November 30

Raj Medicity, Imphal, is providing free health services to people starting November 30 till December 15 under its Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme, Raj Medicity managing director Haobijam Rajen informed in a press conference today.
During the free health services period, the hospital will provide free OPD, minor procedures, basic investigations (haemoglobin, urine test, blood grouping test, random blood sugar test, blood sugar fasting, blood sugar PP, serum creatinine, serum unrea, total bilirubin, serum electrolyte and ECG).
The hospital will also provide free ambulance fully equipped with ICU facilities to patients from Greater Imphal Municipal area between 9 am to 2 pm.
Details of the ambulance services can be had from the hospital, he said.
The hospital is taking up the initiative in view of the hardships faced by the people due to economic blockade and cash crunch post the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 .
"The hospital has enough life saving drugs to last a month.
We would like to extend our ambulance services but we are short of fuel," Rajen stated.
Mention may be made, the hospital provides 25 percent concession to members of AMWJU and free treatment for inmates of Old Age Home at Mongshanggei.
