Top ranking cop receiving LPG subsidy ?

Although subsidy given on domestic LPG is meant for economically weaker sections of the society, a top ranking officer of Manipur Police too has been enjoying the same subsidy.
IPS officer P Mallama Goud who is a consumer of Manipur Police Gas Service (consumer no 3673) has been issued 10 refills since April this year till date and corresponding subsidy amount of Rs 2890.16 has been transferred to his bank account.
This is what the official records say but it demands re-examination whether the police officer is aware LPG subsidy being given against his name or not.
Manipur Police Gas Service which is exclusively for Manipur Police personnel has issued 2535 refills to 400 cylinders between April this year till date.
The distributor has around 5416 active consumers in total out of whom around 4511 are DBTL consumers.
So far, a total of 2535 refills have been issued to around 400 DBTL consumers at rates ranging from five to 10 refills each.
While 10 refills have been issued to one consumer, nine refills each have been issued to two consumers.
Eight refills each have been issued to two other consumers, seven refills each to 155 consumers, six refills each to 206 consumers and five refills each to 345 consumers.
The two consumers who have been issued nine refills each are Tongbram Surchand (consumer no 8311) and T Geetchandra Singh (consumer no 8488).Corresponding subsidy amounts of Rs 2561.04 and Rs 2511.32 have been transferred to their respective bank accounts.
Laishram Debendro Singh (consumer no CX4869540) and Md Ningthem (consumer no 1190) have been issued eight refills each.
They have been given subsidies of Rs 2314.04 and Rs 2256.05 through their respective bank accounts.
For majority of the 400 consumers who have been issued five to ten refills each, corresponding subsidy amounts have entered their respective bank accounts.
However, for 170 consumers, no subsidy amounts have entered their bank accounts.
