State logs zero positive case

No fresh Covid-19 positive case has been detected in the State for second consecutive day even though 117 samples were tested for the virus during the last 24 hours.
Moreover, there is no report of any Covid related death in the State during the last 24 hours which means the death toll remains unchanged at 2120 .
In the meantime, one Covid-19 positive person was discharged from home isolation following recovery, according to a bulletin issued by Additional Director (Health) and Covid-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,225 (general population 1,32,211 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes seven active cases, all belonging to general popu- lation and 1,35,098 recovered cases (general popu- lation 1,30,091 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate as on Saturday is 98.45 per cent.
A total of 341 D-type oxygen cylinders and 15 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State yesterday.
There are 300 Covid beds at JNIMS and another 190 at RIMS.
All of them are at present unoccupied.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 28,55,730 (first dose 15,59,426, second dose 12,09,142 and precautionary dose 87,162) .
Till Friday, 51.47 per cent of the State's total eligible population has been vaccinated with both the first and second doses of Covid vaccine while 61.69 per cent has received the first dose.
