Bodies found, fished out

Imphal, August 20 2013:
A male dead body was found at a gorge between T Khonom village and Longa Koireng along Imphal-Jiribam highway at about 6.30 am today.
The corpse was discovered by local villagers.
With the corpse already decomposed, only the skeletons remain, informed a police source.
The deceased was wearing black jeans and a leather belt.
He also wore cotton threads in the form of a band on the left hand and Urik around the neck.
The corpse which is about five feet in height has been retrieved by police and deposited at RIMS mortuary.
It is reported that the corpse would be disposed off if nobody comes forward to claim it within three days.
On the other hand, some anglers found body of a young child as it floated down Imphal river near the water pump house of Mahaballi forest.
Identity of the victim has later been established as Wasim Ali (3 yrs approx.) s/o Nazimut ali of Mayang Im-phal Bengoon Mayai Leikai, presently staying at Hatta Golapati.
The anglers spotted something floating down the river.
But as they went closer, they saw that it was corpse of a minor boy.
Porompat police retrieved the corpse and deposited the same JNIMS morgue.
