AMIMYDO clinch Sr Men's Volleyball Tournament title

Imphal, October 17 2024: AMIMYDO faced a tough challenge from KYLSC but emerged champions of the 48th Senior Men's Volleyball Tournament 2024 held on Thursday.

Initially losing the first set 20-25, AMIMYDO rallied to win the next two sets decisively at 25-18 and then faced a setback again in the third set, narrowly losing 24-26.They made a strong comeback by winning the fourth set 27-25 and secured the title with a 15-11 victory in the fifth set.

In the mini boys' quarterfinals, NYVA, AMMIMYDO, TYC, and KYLSC also triumphed over their respective opponents.

NYVA cruised to the semifinals with a straight-set win (25-12, 25-15, 25-17) against YPC.

AMMIMYDO encountered little resistance from AAVA, defeating them comfortably 25-9, 25-20, 25-12 to advance.

TYC dominated SUWC with a 25-11, 25-10, 25-15 victory, securing their semifinal spot, while KYLSC completed the semifinal lineup by beating SEWA 25-22, 25-22, 25-15 .

In the junior girls' match of the day, SCYC outclassed CDVA with scores of 25-11, 25-11.In the mini girls' match, CDVA emerged victorious over SEWA.
