Victory for RFC, Lanchenbi (B) and MAMA FC in Futsal football tournament

Imphal, January 24 2019: In the first match, RFC Khamnam Leirak thrashed BFC (B) Sayang 5 -2 of the ongoing 4th Nilesh Wahengbam State Level Open Futsal Football tournament 2019 today.

RFC player Sushil drew the first blood 4 minutes into the game but was equalised in the 6th minute by BFC (B) through Golmei who also added another goal in the 18th minute to give his 2-1 lead for the first time.

However, Sushil again struck another goal one minute later to level the score at 2-2.Naoba of BFC (B) also joined the party and struck a goal in the 20th minute to end the first half at the score of 3-2 .

After the changeover, Naoba continued his impressive form and added one more goal in the 32nd minute to make it 4-2 which is further extended by Sushil to 5-2 in the 34th minute.

In the second match, Lanchenbi (B) come back strongly to overpower MPTC by 6-3 goals.

The match started with the both the teams - MPTC and Lanchenbi (B) - fighting hard to remain on top of each other.

However, MPTC managed to surge ahead with 3-2 lead at the end of first half.

Naoton of MPTC opened the account in the 6th minute which was immediately equalised by Herojit of Lanchanbi (B) in the 7th minute.

Abungo added two more goals for MPTC in 10th and 18th minute to help his team surge ahead with 3-1 lead.

At this juncture, Manisana of Lanchenbi (B) charged ahead to reduce the goal difference and was successful to find the back of the net in the 20th minute to end the first half at 2-3.In the second half, Manisana was determined to scale the height of victory which has been translated in the form of goal scoring spree adding three successive goals in the 35th, 38th and 40th minute to take his team on a commanding position with 5-3 lead.

Herojit then solidified their position with another goal in the 40th minute.

In the third match of the day, MAMA FC decimated Changangei Light FC 16-1 in a one-sided match.

Changangei Light FC was no match against the mighty MAMA FC.

For MAMA FC, Deepak (4', 6', 20', 29', 28', 30', 32', 35'38'), Roshan (9', 13', 14', 27'), Lansingam (24', 36') and Chungmei (33') were the succesful goal scorers.

The lone goal for Changangei Light FC was scored by James in the 37th minute.
