Semi-finals line-up set for 8th CYLC men's open tennis tournament

The semifinals line-up are set for the ongoing 8th CYLC men's open tennis tournament 2019 organized by Association of Tennis Lover under the aegis of Manipur Tennis Association from January 23 at Hao Ground Tennis Court.
For men's singles, the first semi-final will be played between Rivaskar and Azad Khan while the second semi-final match will be played between Becker and Bona.
In today's first quarterfinal match, Rivaskar defeated Akendrajit by 9-1 game while Azad Khan overpowered RK Pritam by 9-2 game.
Becker moved to semifinal with work over Suraj in the third quarter-final while Bona defeated Padameshwor by 9-1 game in the last quarter-final.
In above-40 men's doubles, the duo of Aken and Keshworjit will lock horn with the pair of Kangjamba and Rakesh in the first semi-final while duo of Pradeep and Birla will square off with the pair of Tule and Ibohal in the second semi-final.
The pair of Aken and and Keshworjit defeated Aldrin and Manikanta by 9-7 game in the first quarter-final while the pair of Kangjamba and Rakesh beat the duo of Ranjan and Balkrishna by 9-4 game.
In the third quarter-final match, duo of Pradeep and Birla overpowered Sanatomba and Pritam by 9-5 game while duo of Ranjan and Balkrishna thrashed the partner Dilip and Leisemsana by 9-1 game.
In above-110 doubles, Dilip and Leisemsana will face Ranjan and Indrakumar in the first semi-final while Kangjamba and Matum will meet Tule and Ibotombi in the second semi-final.
Manikanta and Joy entered quarter-final defeating Aldrin and Ibomcha by 8-6 game in the pre-quarterfinal match while Debendra and Pradeep downed T Joy and Prakash by 8-2 game to move to quarter-final.
In the first quarter-final, the pair of Dilip and Leisemsana beat Ranjit and Tomba by 9-3 game while Ranjan and Indrakumar overcome Biren and Romeo by 9-1 game in the second quarter-final.
Kangjamba and Matum moved to semi-final defeating Manikanta and Joy by 9-5 game in the third quarter-final match.
