Imphal, August 02: State pugilists Thokchom Nanao Singh and Kongkham Roshan Singh respectively won a gold and silver medal each in the 44th Cuba International Olympic Game competition held from July 1 till 6, informed Manipur Amateur Boxing Association.

Th Nanao s/o Th Kotobi of Khoijuman Maning Leikai in Bishnupur district clinched the yellow metal in the 48 kg category apart from bagging the 'best boxer' title while K Roshan Singh s/o K Khomdon of Nambol Maibam Chingmang secured the silver medal in the 57 kg competition.

Both Nanao and Roshan who had been on a training stint in Cuba will now join another training cum competition in Kazakistan from August 17, the Association added.
