The North Imphal Sports Association (NISA), Thangmeiband defeated Oil India Duliajan 2-0 in today's match of the ongoing Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) 2nd Division Football League 2009-10 oorganised by the All India Football Federation at Tinsukia, Assam.
After winning today's match of group C played against Oil India Duliajan, NISA is in the lead with 12 points so far.
NISA won all its four matches of the league played so far.
Altogether seven different clubs from all over India are competing in the league.
NISA dominated today's match right from the beginning.
On the other hand players of Oil India Duliajan alo played the match with full determination to win.
However lack of better coordination among the players of OID resulted to their loss of the match.
NISA open its goal account with a nice heading of N Jimmy from a pass by his teammate S Manimohonin the 36th minute.
However hard they tried, OID found it unable to strike back against NISA and the first half concluded with NISA leading by 1-0 .
The second goal of NISA was also scored by N Jimmy in the 86th minute.
