Kakching, May 02 2024: Wangjing-Lamding Municipal Council Ward No.4 ex-councillor and social worker Thokchom Amitab Singh on Thursday provided football jerseys for 22 players of Wangjing Youth Football Club (WYFC) .

WYFC is the only football club from Wangjing-Tentha assembly constituency which will participate in the L Memcha Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament 2024 organised by District Football Association, Thoubal at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex from May 5 .

In his address, Th Amitab encouraged the players to give their best in the tournament as WYFC president Soibam Ningthem and general secretary Takhellambam Sada expressed their gratitude to Th Amitab for sponsoring the kit.
